Climate Vigil Thursday, 7-8:30PM in Brookline

The Western Mass team will be hosting a Climate Vigil this Thursday, Aug. 5, from 7-8:30 at Devotion School Park in Brookline (345 Harvard Street). First, we will speak about what we fear to lose to climate change; then, at 7:45, bikers from Cambridge will join us for a candle lit walk to Coolidge Corner where we will verbalize our hopes for a brighter future.

*We will be holding this event RAIN OR SHINE–if it is raining, we will direct you to a covered site just around the corner.*

We hope you can join us! ALSO: read about our journey, and the Vigil, on THE GLOBE’S WEBSITE! Read the full article HERE.

We hope you can join us on Thursday!

  1. Congratulations for your ride and, more important, for your endurance. As a crazy biker from Montreal who just completed, last Sunday, a trans-America bike ride from San Diego to Montreal, I am thrilled to discover other people crazy enough to put themselves in such enterprises. The more we will be, the more there will have people saying “hey, if these guys and girls can do 600 miles, surely I can do 60”. And we will have a better world for it, I hope.

Tell us what you think!
